@panda.nene: 🎃 Halloween is coming! In Japan, Halloween goods are EVERYWHERE! 👻🧡 Even though Halloween is not originally a Japanese tradition, it has become a big seasonal event here. When autumn arrives, stores, supermarkets, convenience stores, 100-yen shops, and shopping malls start filling up with Halloween decorations and products. You can find pumpkins, ghosts, witches, skeletons, cute Halloween characters, costumes, decorations, sweets, snacks, drinks, and so many other Halloween-themed items. 🎃👻🧙‍♀️ And the funny thing is… you don’t even have to be looking for Halloween goods! You can simply walk into a store to buy something completely unrelated and suddenly find yourself surrounded by Halloween products. 😂 In Japan, Halloween is often celebrated in a very cute and commercial way. Instead of being mainly about scary traditions, you’ll see lots of colorful, cute, and kawaii Halloween designs. Of course, some people dress up in costumes and go to Halloween events or parties too. 🎭 But for many people, Halloween is also simply a fun autumn season. Limited-edition Halloween sweets and drinks are especially popular. 🍫🍬🧁 Japanese stores love seasonal products, so Halloween gives them another excuse to create special packaging and limited-edition flavors. You’ll often see products that are available only for a short time, which makes people want to try them before they’re gone. And then, before you know it… Halloween is over and Christmas decorations start appearing everywhere. 😂🎄 Japan really loves seasonal decorations! So if you visit Japan around this time of year, keep your eyes open.
