It irritates me when men call women gold diggers, in the meantime they want the women's body, energy, time, and want her to have babies. He is worried about few pennies, meanwhile he wants to have access to the most important aspects of her life. We need to stop undervalueing women.

Projection that a girl only wants you for your money is the same man only liking her for her body. 😭

Why does he deserve a woman who’d still care if he lost it all if he wouldn’t care if she lost her looks

It’s not the money per se, it’s the personality that was able to make the money.

if you want someone who doesn't care about money then marry a uber rich woman.... but that would make you a gold digger.

Everybody cares about money on some level. If he didn’t care, then he would probably make a substantial less amount of money.

The men who don't want 'gold diggers' are often the same ones who want young, pretty, fit partners.

I read a quote about gold diggers and I laugh everytime I think about it. It was about men complaining that a woman must be a gold digger if she expects the man to pay for dinner. The woman’s response is amazing, it goes “honey, if I was a gold digger I certainly wouldn’t be begging for a piece of chicken”. 😂😂😂😂😂💀

i get his side. but dude. it's not money, it is because it means you are stable, can be relied on, we can be feminine, and not a mother of our partner.

Nope. Nope nope. The moment he agreed he’d leave if he lost attraction, that dude is in no capacity ready for an actual relationship nor does he deserve one. No way, no how, unless he’d also okay with a woman who bounces the moment he loses his money. Nope nope nope, disgusting. He doesn’t get to be transactional and hate on women who are transactional back.

I do understand his concern, but I also have noticed that men, generally speaking, of any wealth level, seem to have this fear of gold diggers. It seems to be pretty universal. The question that I want to know is, if a man has made his whole life about his work and his money, and (as is often the case) hasn't invested much time into developing the other parts of his character / personality, having genuine hobbies, and developing strong friendships and community etc; why would that man be so surprised and/or fearful that the person that he attracts would also have the same singular interest that he has, as in money? Obviously I can't speak for this guy. He could be a fully well-rounded individual, and this kind of thing is not gender-specific either. If you're a very deep-thinking analytical person, it's unlikely that you'll end up seriously dating somebody who's very shallow, because then what would you have to talk about?

Don't lead with your money as your whole personality and you will get a better woman. Women don't date a man for money. In any relationship, finances are a huge part of feeling safe and secure, in investing your time, energy, emotions, body to the RIGHT kind of man. Just because he can make money, doesn't mean he's capable in an emergency, or even there. It doesn't mean he cares about your well-being, nor does it mean he's going to share it with you if he had it. Most of the time it's a weapon to manipulate and control others around them. it's his ego that he really wants stroked, and the validation of other men. you are simply a trophy to look at till they are tired of looking at you. period. build meaningful relationships. money means nothing without integrity and good intentions.
