Is this where the word liminal space is derived from? And you say that maybe your old personality died and that’s a pretty striking idea. Wouldn’t that be like your entire emotional map just disappearing completely before you could grow and integrate your new self? Wouldn’t that be like an emotional black-out before new emotional structures are set in place?

I’m really struggling with this. I worked so so hard to reach a place that now feels like it doesn’t fit. It feels both intolerable and scary to walk away from. It’s incredibly uncomfortable.
