No CGI. No edits. Just a full-scale mechanical great white, a massive indoor water tank, and a film crew trying to make several tons of machinery look terrifyingly alive. 🦈🎬 The shark had to be lowered into position only feet from the actress while the camera team tracked every movement from the edge of the tank. The timing had to be exact — her reaction, the shark’s movement, the lighting, and the camera all working together in one take. Up close, the thing was enormous. Scratched skin, exposed mechanics, rows of teeth… and just enough movement to make standing beside it feel like a terrible idea. This is practical-effects filmmaking at its best — huge, physical, unpredictable, and somehow more intimidating when the monster is actually right there on set. Turn the sound ON for the moment the shark comes to life… 👀 Would you stand that close to this thing for the shot? (CREATED BY AI) ALL PEOPLE, ANIMALS, LOCATIONS, AND SCENES ARE FICTIONAL AND NOT REAL! #MovieMagic #BehindTheScenes #PracticalEffects #BTS #Filmmaking #MovieSet #Cinema #FilmProduction #Reels #pixversecpp @pixverse_official @pixverse
