How busy was this place at 8:46 in the morning? Would it be full for people eating breakfast? Or would it have been relatively quiet compared to the evening? It’s so hard to imagine how those trapped must have felt.

A lot of people didn’t “jump.” They were hanging out those windows so they could breath since there was smoke everywhere and many slipped and fell. That breaks my heart when I think about it💔

I was up there every night for 3 years I drove a bread route in the late 80s took the express elevator to windows on the world I still have pictures of the city at night I'll cherish them forever
