i hate hate hate to tell you this but the reason why my black stayed for so long was because i had red underneath so if you have a filler color it'll give something for the dye to stick to

I'm a licensed cosmetologist I don’t know your hair history, but if you have put a lot of dye, especially permanent dye over your hair multiple times there is a good chance that your cuticle could be lifted and that’s the reason why your hair dye is not staying very long is because that pigment is not staying in your hair because you’re cuticle is open and overworked
