@hinaparvezbutt: In search of justice, little Aizal’s mother travelled from Karachi to Lahore to meet me at my office. What happened to 18-month-old little Aizal is deeply tragic and heartbreaking. Aizal’s mother briefed me on all the details of the case and the developments so far. Although the jurisdiction of the Punjab Women Protection Authority is limited to Punjab, a mother’s voice for justice cannot be confined by provincial boundaries. I will do everything within my capacity to provide Aizal’s mother with all possible legal, moral and practical support.
