Although there are some historical and other accuracies in the bible, there are also inaccuracies, fallacies, contradictions, errors, internal contradictions, mythology, etc. How do you negotiate with the texts to determine which is which? Most biblical scholars and historians agree that Jesus probably existed as an itinerant Jewish preacher who had a following and was executed by the Romans, that is where the evidence ends and the claims without corraborative evidence begins.

Ponitus pilate never mentioned jesus. That story comes from Josephus and tacitus and the gospels. Josephus and tacitus weren’t even born when jesus supposedly died and the gospels were written decades after jesus supposed death and the text never names the authors.

The bibles talks about them cause as much as it is a religious text it hold very accurate historical information about timelines and events of ppl who lived during the writing stages.

What?!! They named real.places and real people in the bible? If Harry Potter was written 2000 yrs ago they'd be worshipping him. It's essentially the same story. Only it's an immaculate deflection and a resurrection instead.
