The Aztec and maya were very advanced societies to be fair. Especially in medicine. They were very good with dentistry, and even dived into fields like brain surgery. And even simple things like shamanistic practices, to type of advanced herbalist knowledge to be able to synthesize DMT out of roots, barks and vine is literally mindblowing, especially when you actually know what it takes to synthesize the stuff as a process. I mean they were relatively well rounded.

A lot of industrialization involves destroying the environment. Culturally I can’t imagine them wanting to do that even if they had the technology

You’ll have to think outside the box. Their nearby rivals the Purepecha had already developed Bronze weapons. A few more wars against each other would’ve spread this knowledge further, and fueled an arms race.

They would have gotten there...there was no reason for us to advance this fast because all the advancements were forced...hence wars and poverty.

They didn’t need to industrialize. They had what they needed.

Too many factors for 1 solid answer. Let's say hypothetically they weren't colonized but still made contact with Europeans. I'd have no doubt that they'd be able to match or catch up when Europeans began industrializing even if they wouldn't be the ones initiating it. They were very advanced for the conditions they came up in.
