I have sat at my booth and googled every person on the ballot I wasn’t familiar with. There’s no time limit on how long you take. You can take as long as you want! And yes, you can skip whatever you want! I think voting can kind of feel like taking a test you didn’t study for, but it’s really not! You can do whatever!

worth noting that ballot measures often have VERY misleading titles and/or explanations on the ballot, so be sure to look up detailed explanations of what they entail (ideally from both pro and con viewpoints) before heading to the polls! 👍

If a person thinks both sides are bad, it's because they're Republican and have suffered, or are afraid they will suffer, ridicule for their ridiculous views. Getting them out to vote doesn't help our country to move forward; and let's be honest, they are going to vote, they probably believe they will get paid, they just don't want to share those views.

Look up what’s important to you beforehand and keep a list on your phone of the candidates you’re voting for. You can also view sample ballots, too. If voting didn’t matter, they wouldn’t be fighting so hard to silence so many

Missouri sends you a sample ballot that you can fill out at home and take it with you to vote, in case you’re worried you won’t remember how you want to vote for certain (or all) things!

Judges have a significant local impact, though. Vote the whole ballot! If it’s too overwhelming, at least vote state and local. Civic responsibility starts at home, and those small candidates often become federal candidates after learning the ropes locally. Build better federal voting options by voting locally!

If you want to learn about local candidates, you can always check out a local democrat /republican meeting. You get to ask them questions directly and hear them talk.

I take the sample ballot and sit down at my computer and try to research them, but sometimes I still skip stuff, but I vote every time it’s one of the most important things we do.IMO
