This doesn’t feel like the hunger games

Suzanne knew what she was doing when she wrote and dropped the book.

redacted :

I thought this was a legit protest banner for a moment 😅

August Echo 🪲 :

this is such an incredible way to market both the movie AND the book, promoting comprehensive literacy and education is so important right now!

there’s something deeply poetic about this movie being released in one of the worst political climates of modern day america.

Suzanne making sure everyone gets the point

Sad & scary that in this current state of our country, that my first thought was this was being put up by our government before I saw the caption that it’s for promoting a book.

Sticksandtomesart :

Is that banner A.I.?!

Turtle Rants :

This feels like more than marketing...

betty :

it's scary that (in my opinion) our world is worse than panem, irl it's the women suffering and being oppressed for centuries, in the hunger games everyone is at least suffering equally

el :

Very telling that I didn’t realize this was a hunger games prop until I looked at the caption

Bandgazebo :

My neighborhood book club wants to do this book since the movie comes out…the group leans quite right and I don’t know if I have the will to join that discussion and not burn every bridge 🫣

Nathan Oda :

We sure this is just for the movie? 😳

Angie :

I didn’t even realize this was for THG. Just assumed we were hard launching a dictatorship.

Sarah Tano :

Crazy this movie is coming out 17 days after the midterms.

im rereading the book rn and they literally allude to the fact that AI ruined panem even before the uprising.

Alenuhhh :
