This is what he is saying in this video: June 16, 1979 After the coup, the first executions happened - Gen. I.K Acheampong (former Head of State) and Maj. Gen. E.K Utuka were executed at Teshie. Ghanaians cheered "Let the blood flow". *2. THE AGREEMENT:* After that, the AFRC council, according to Boakye Djan, took a decision - NO MORE EXECUTIONS. The rest would face long prison sentences. He says he was present at that meeting. *3. June 26, 1979 - The Betrayal:* At 9:15am, without the knowledge of some AFRC members, 6 more Generals were hurriedly taken to the range and shot. - Gen. F.W.K Akuffo - Lt. Gen. Akwasi Amankwa Afrifa - Maj. Gen. R.E.A Kotei - Air Vice Marshal George Yaw Boakye - Rear Admiral Joy Amedume - Col. Roger Felli *4. The Confrontation:* Boakye Djan says he and Maj. Gen. Joshua Hamidu and others rushed to confront Rawlings that same morning. Rawlings' response was: _"They came and put pressure on me, so I had to do it. *The big question Boakye Djan left us with before he died:* WHO IS THE "THEY? Was it the junior soldiers and NCOs who wanted revenge? Was it political figures who saw Afrifa as a threat to the upcoming elections?
