All I can think about seeing Elmo shaking is the kids that were on the plane on the field trip and how scared they probably were 😭. I saw an interview this year with Asia Cottom’s mom and it wrecked me. This year’s 9/11 felt so much heavier.

I always think of this baby, Asia Cottom, who died alongside other children who won a National Geographic contest. This little baby only wanted to swim with the dolphins, and ended up dying in an awful and hateful attack. 😕

9/11 hits different when you’re some of the peoples age who were just trying to go to work. The feeling you get when you don’t want to go but know you have to go I bet a lot felt that morning
