these types who judge childfree women are exactly those who just got pregnant due to poor birth control and want others to be as miserable. women who truly want motherhood would not speak like that. it's good old misery loves company.

As a mother, who loves my children deeply, I don't recommend having kids. Had I know what this world was going to be, I would have NEVER brought life in to this dumpster fire of a world.

Additionally, why would I want to subject another poor soul to this capitalistic hell scape? Like, if she wants to talk about being selfish, I feel bringing a child into this world, especially if I don’t have the money to protect them from having to sacrifice the majority of the time in their life doing something that they don’t wanna do just to survive, I feel that’s incredibly more selfish than not having a child.

Motherhood doesn’t make a bad person a good person. After the attention of raising kids went away my mom made working with special needs kids her personality and she has ruined our family by doing so

To all of you that have people calling you selfish for not wanting kids: I work in healthcare and psychology. I honestly have NOT met many child-free people who were selfish. But I have met PLENTY of selfish parents! Like stated selfish by their own children and their children weren’t wrong 💔

I LOVE being a mom, I have 3 daughters 26, 25, and 21 and a daughter who would be 12 in Jan but she sadly passed away at 23 days old. That being said, I don’t regret the years of being a mom, BUT now at 50 is when I’m FINALLY finding myself again! Parenting takes a LOT from a parent!! It took work to get ME back!

l was told I was infertile. I was cool with it as I have never wanted kids. I even went so far as to get an ablation and my tubes were cut/coiled/cotterized. Why spend so much $ on midol and cotton to absorb.😳 If you said $20 a month on supplies with all the candy and what not. I just saved thousands with 1 decision. 🥰 Plus we have all heard of woman who were told they couldn't and all the sudden 2 years later... 😮 surprise, your pregnant. It has happened to more than 1 of my friends over my lifetime of friends. Nope, no thank you. Better safe than the sorry I would have been.

I love being childfree by choice!! If you’re on the “fence”, I recommend nannying for kids of different age groups…especially infants and toddlers. I love children, but it solidified the fact that I do not want any children of my own!

yeah, im selfish. even the THOUGHT of getting pregnant puts me into a perpetual sense of ICK. I want nothing to do with kids. they are gross, loud, sticky, annoying and push bounderies. not for me and never EVER happening. currently on a waitlist to get the tubes yeeted

My parents were unintentionally (not self aware or emotionally intelligent enough) to let me know how hard being a parent is and that it caused them money problems (couldn’t be the drinking or my mom unwilling to work at all, no) and as soon as I was old enough to be alone they would go on vacation without me. They’ve been to Hawaii 4 times without me, starting at leaving me home alone at 14 through high school.
