I saw smb say it should be called nonconversational instead of nonverbal because nonverbal kids are some of the most verbal ppl you’ll ever meet 😭😭😭

One is fake crying to themselves, the other one is humming loudly, another one is beatboxing, and the last one is repeating something they heard their classmates say like 3 hours earlier over and over…all while I’m trying to do Heggerty and UFLI 🫠

Yes!! I’ve had to explain numerous times that nonverbal just means communicating without spoken words. Everyone of my students is super loud

oh, we have two of the LOUDEST nonverbal verbal stimmers EVER. and they feed off each other's stimming 🤣 i just keep kids of ibuprofen in my purse.
