More misleading labelling and this time from Fry Light!! The label reads “FryLight olive oil cooking spray” and it includes a tag line “nothing artificial” so it would be very reasonable to assume it’s just olive oil in the bottle and it’s the fact that you’re rationing the amount used with the spray that allows it to be 1 calorie per spray. But it is not just olive oil, it’s only half olive oil in fact😡 You don’t need to use fry light to ration the amount of calories you’re getting from your spray oil if that’s what you’re looking for. These other 2 swaps I show are actually 100% olive oil and you’d still be significantly rationing your calories from oil by using either of these. The Irish brand is even called 2 Cal spray so it wouldn’t make any real difference to your calories using this instead of fry light for your cooking oil. The “1 cal” tag line is just a marketing tactic - by using any spray you’ll be significantly rationing your cooking oil. Also the first swap I showed is cheaper than fry light and it is 100% olive oil. So fry light are charging more for a product that they’re able to manufacture for cheaper because of the additives they’re adding in 👎 Did you know this about fry light? Also if you haven’t downloaded my 47 Simple Swaps FREE Guide yet which includes some of my top swaps then make sure to comment “SWAPS” and I’ll send you the free guide 👍❤️ #readlabels #foodlabels #cleverswaps #sophiesswaps #cookingoil
