The longer I’ve been around the more I tend to follow the Adam Savage rule, buy the cheap thing first, run it to the ground, then if you actually used it so much it’s dead / intolerable, use the experience to inform buying the expensive version

Anything Native Instruments related. Maschine Software integration in other daws is just ridiculous. Roland SP404. Wirst Interface and Workflow one can imagine.

I’m pretty surprised that a Hercules mic stand got effed so easily. We have those in our studio and they have been excellent, not THAT cheap either, like $80 or some. Can’t recommend anything because I was gonna recommend those 😂 I have a Hercules guitar rack and some wall mounts, top quality too.

I bought three sm58's from someone on the internet for 1/3 of retail price in 2021, still using them and they are so useful. twist of the pop cap and they work so well on everything, twist it back on and you have a great vocal mic
