I think Rhinedottir is siding with Ronova this time. When she stated that using the "Seals of Life" to defy death is a grave violation—and considering Vesna’s words in the trailer about the Seals being a power granted by the God of Life to her ancestors—it seems to me that Rhinedottir views this not as a gift, but as a theft. That is why she said she didn't care at first, but crossing the line to defy death was too much; she wants to reclaim what rightfully belongs to her. This explains her challenge to the Tsaritsa: "Care to stop me, Cryo Archon?" It leads me to believe Rhinedottir is on Ronova's side—even though I know she isn't entirely trustworthy. Furthermore, the trailer shows her asking the Tsaritsa about Asmoday; I suspect that Ronova and Rhinedottir’s presence in Snezhnaya isn't just about opposing the locals' actions, but also about gathering information on Asmoday and her whereabouts. This is just my theory, of course, and its accuracy is uncertain.

We can assume that the tsaritsa made some type of contract with someone to gain a part of naberius, which she then gave to vesna to safeguard, so Rhine is trying to get that piece back, probs by aiding the tsaritsa against ronova to then make a deal with her

might have a theory for why Gold came to see the Tsaritsa Gold herself says, “In all this time, I’ve had no great ambition to recover my stolen morsel.” So originally, she apparently wasn’t particularly interested in getting it back But then she says, “But if it were used to extract life… Or even defy death… It would be a grave transgression.” This makes me think something changed. Gold may have learned that her stolen morsel was being used for a purpose involving life and death, potentially even to challenge Ronova, the Ruler of Death. That could be why she suddenly decides that she needs to recover it What makes this even more interesting is that we can see the stolen morsels in the background of the bank, while Vesna appears to be doing something with them, possibly using them for some kind of experiment or process So maybe the reason Gold came to see the Tsaritsa wasn’t simply because she wanted her morsel back. She may have come because she discovered what the Tsaritsa was doing with it and realized that it could be used to defy death. That would also explain the later exchange, where Gold says, “It seems I’ll have to reclaim what is mine. Care to stop me, Cryo Archon?” And then we hear the Tsaritsa say, “Time to start the next phase of the plan.” So perhaps Gold’s arrival and what she revealed about the morsel caused the Tsaritsa to move forward with the next phase of her plan. The big question is what exactly the Tsaritsa is planning to do with the morsel, and why it is important enough to potentially challenge Ronova
