Have had mine for 20 years. they have made plenty of money off the belts and bags. this is a generational machine. my parents had one and we'll the only draw back it the weight. but how can you really clean your carpet with a light weight vacuum. I can follow up after any other vacuum and still pull dirt out that the others miss. I will gladly drop 2k on something that will actually last.

SHARK!! Get one they work so much better. Bought one for my sister in law to replace her Kirby! She cried in amazement as the Shark filled its tank in minutes. This was right after she used her Kirby 😂

i have a Kirby, the newer unit ... i also sold them for years ... best damn vacuum cleaner... none of these plastic units can come close

it was Bucky heavy and the rubber belt was not properly shielded so the rubber belt kept on popping from the heat yeah I remember those😳😳

I worked for a collage. They had 2 Kirby’s and a handful of others. The others had been replaced each year if they lasted that long. Kirby kept going.
