@kelseyunscripted: An older title doesn’t define your character, but an elitist rulebook definitely exposes theirs. Let’s stop pretending a shiny price tag buys class. Drop a comment if you're over these arbitrary park double standards! 🖤👇#rvliving #rvpark #rvresort #rvlivingfulltime
Say this louder for the rv parks with age restrictions in the back!!!! 💯

We are currently RV shopping again! This will be the fiurth camper we’ve owned, and we’ve never bought anything newer than a 2014. We started with a tiny one-bedroom camper when we had no kids, and now we have two kids and need a bigger RV.
We’ve never had the 10-year rule apply to us. We’ve been RVing since 2018 and are still doing it in 2026!

People used to rent a lot and dump their camper there as a way to get rid of it that’s why we have a 10 year rule, but we do except if it’s in good shape. We’ve honestly turned down more newer RVs than we have older ones.

Agenda 762 :
Since most people that buy RV's use them for occasional recreational use, a RV that's from the 80's or 90's usually has little to no use and or no real mileage. Your right, the electrical system is the same along with other things.

I do not own one, am researching, and all of the experts say buy 2019 or older. Everything after is junk.

A lot of campgrounds won’t allow a RV over 10 yrs old. You have to stop for inspection to be allowed to enter

We started with a 20 year old RV and upgraded. But we rarely had an issue! [Heartwarming]

Facts! 1987 Minnie Whinnie completely stripped and remodeled on the inside but left all the old outside for the aesthetic. This is show ready, we can’t camp at some parks due to age but my rig will last another 20 yrs because these campers were made to run FOREVER unlike the “new” ones.

Actually, you’re better off with they used older RV that you put your own touch on. Coming from someone in the transportation industry they are easier to maintain and if they break it’s a simple fix you’re not dealing with computers, etc..

You want to buy an RV park? I got a buddy. it's got one approved a bill but he just don't have the money to go forward. it's approved for 34 lots since Southern Utah. it's perfect area but he just don't have 5 million to dump into the land

I have a 2013 class a it's cheaper to renovate it for $7,000 that's what it cost to do the whole inside nine grand to re-wrap it then buy something over $100,000 that's junk and I have never been asked once about the year of mine and I've been staying at a RV resort that has a rule of 10 and over

We stayed in a rv park for 8 yrs for hubbys work. In that time 3 registered SO were found living there and 1 working there under a false name. 😳 Multiple drug dealers, it was a rough mess! Owners never ask for any type of information, just if you can pay you can stay. Horrible. It’s a great place for felons to hide! Have stayed at some parks that were ran right and rules to aside by and had much better experience
