A lot of artists don’t agree with this. I find it useful though. I get my basic outline, but usually end up erasing and redrawing as I start to shade everything in.

I use a projector sometimes because I also struggle with getting proportions right. Most of the time, it's my own sketch, but others have been pics I've taken or found. Using it as a tool is fine as long as you're not just copying someone else's work.

Dont use these for too long on small drawings. You will just get worse at drawing. Try 5”x 5” grid method… wall murals are still a valid use of projectors.. 🎨✅
