What a Sunday it has been! 💖👩🏻‍🍳 Maraming salamat sa aking mga “ates,” Chef Reggie Aspiras and Ate Badjie Trinidad of Philippine Heritage Kitchen, for inviting #hapPINAY to be part of Once Upon a Time in Malabon (Malabon Food Festival). It was truly an honor to collaborate and cook alongside the culinary pillars of #Malabon who continue to champion the preservation of our city’s rich food heritage. ✨ Naniniwala kami na maaaring mawala ang mga lumang bahay dahil sa baha o mapalitan ng mga bagong gusali, pero ang pagkain ang tunay na kaluluwa ng isang lugar. It tells our history, reflects our identity, and connects generations. Kaya sama-sama nating ipinakikilala, pinapahalagahan, at pinananatiling buhay ang lutuing #Malabon. It was a beautiful day filled with stories, laughter, and nostalgia as #Malabonian families reminisced about the dishes they grew up with and how food has always been at the heart of every celebration and family gathering. 💕 Thank you to everyone who made this celebration possible—Philippine Heritage Kitchen, Jay R - D' Original Okoy, Malabon Food Cravings, Milflores, Belen's Kitchenette, Victoria Buenaventura, Chef Ïsï Läürëänö, Remilly's Yema Cake, Betsy's, and all our exhibitors and partners. Maraming salamat din sa aming generous sponsors: Malabon Citisquare, Fisher Mall Malabon, MGC Veranda, Congressman Lenlen Oreta, Konsehal Enzo Oreta and Spring Cooking Oil. 🙏🏻 Most of all, thank you to everyone who came, supported the event, shared your stories, and celebrated with us. Seeing everyone smile, enjoy the food, and proudly talk about Malabon’s culinary heritage made all the hard work worth it. ☺️👏🏻 And to everyone asking… YES! MAY PART 2 PA 💖 Abangan natin ang susunod na kabanata ng ating kwento—at mas marami pang lasa, alaala, at pagmamahal para sa lutuing Malabon.
