People on universal credit are getting £400 a month and have to prove they are looking for work, whilst there’s always people who will scam any system who exactly is it you re referring to?

I used to think paying National Insurance tax was to support family members like uncles, aunts, and mum and dad in their retirement. I guess I was mistaken, as I didn't realize it went on complete strangers. It's really opened my eyes.

No and unemployment benefits should only last 6 months. The Welfare State was introduced to help people through short periods of unemployment and was not meant to be a life choice.

if all you can claim is job seekers allowance that's £95 if you're over 25. It has a 6 month limit. After that you'll have to apply for Universal Credit which is pretty complicated.

You can’t really do this in the UK. To claim universal credit you need to evidence you are actively looking for work, and face a sanction if you turn down a job offer or work placement. Some exceptions for lone parents, carers and the disabled.

I think if you can’t work and claim any benefit you should have to sit in a hall all facing the wall to get you pay 8.30-5.30 1hr lunch break, you get your pay at the end of the month
