at my wedding we had prime rib and mashed potatoes etc. a few of my really close friends ONLY eat chicken tenders, so we also had them make 10 specific chicken tender plates for them!

I don’t get why people are mad about this. It seems like the creator has A LOT of allergies. Bringing her own food probably makes her feel safer and takes stress off the bride.

I got so mad because my best friend is celiac and I had told my venue that was also catering our wedding this information the day we first met with them. I reiterated it multiple times during the meal planning and figuring out what they could make for her. Day of the wedding, they had no food for her prepared. I also made her a separate dessert that was labeled and they mixed it in with all the other gluten desserts. They screwed up so much more that day, but that upset me the most because she means the world to me and I wanted her to enjoy my wedding just as much as everyone else and also not be hospitalized 🫠 luckily we got her taken care of but I still get upset thinking about it

As an anaphylactic food allergy girlie as well I wish people were as understanding as you friends. So many people just tell me to pick out the allergen. That’s not how it works

I have arfid and when my mom took me to a wedding I was invited to. The bride made sure I had food I could eat. 😭 My parents always just got me food after or before to make sure i ate. 😭😭

I’m pretty sure I have MCAS but it’s not so much food that I have issues with. I have moments where random foods will cause a little throat swelling and then the next time I eat it I’m fine. My thing is my skin!! The list of body wash, deodorant, shampoo, etc I can use just gets shorter and shorter 😭 The reactions I have to deodorant had my dermatologist thinking I had HS they are so bad and so painful. Underarm biopsies aren’t fun 😬

my brother did similar for me. i only eat halal meat and at his wedding he had non halal meat (bc im the only muzzy) and he got me my own plate w halal meat
