when my wife and I got home with our baby it hit us all at once. all the ways we could mess up, it would cloud our minds with intrusive thoughts. they were hard to get rid of but we would check in with eachother and ourselfs. if you get a intrusive thoughts, just remind yourself that your breathing. takes your mind away from the thought then check in with yourself. how are we doing today? what do you feel right now? on those nights that baby dosnt want to go down, do a full 3 point check. think about your feeling, give yourself credit and enjoy some time in the now! I know this is easier said than done but this really worked for my wife and I!

My brother is an RN and my SIL is a physical therepy doctor, so my nephew is in better hands than most.
