Daemon loved his older brother so much! And yet he chose rhaenyra to be his heir 💀

muad'dib :

love Rhaenys but her acting like Aegon becoming king wouldn't affect her negatively regardless of her actions there is just plain dumb

thecommentguy__ :

She had the nerve to say the greens are coming after you yet she could’ve literally prevented that like it’s just that eager like she’s a great character but it’s just her giving the most dumbest reminders and warnings of saying all the greens are coming after you and your children you have to leave dragon stone you know while I’m just gonna sit away and think no this is gonna affect me though like you you’re just dumb. You literally could’ve ended all of that in the second swipe and yet you would rather die in your dragon instead of dying right there regardless I mean you’re so dumb she could’ve ended the dance of dragons just like that but yet she decided to be honourable and tell everyone, oh hey guys, I could’ve ended it all for you but instead I’m going to be the one who’s not gonna start this war bro. The war would’ve started regardless, but you could’ve stopped it properly now it’s gonna take me much

Are we all forgetting she was still under the fresh impression that rhaenyra and daemon were responsible for laenors death? I’m not saying it justifies her reasoning for not burning aegon, but I think there was more behind it than not wanting to be the one to start a war. I think she knew very well that aegon ruling would affect her, I just don’t think she really cared at that particular point. I believe she found herself again when she chose to die for the realm, she felt guilty and knew it was her job to face it.
