I love our accent, our dialect, and all the special ways we say everyday things, but even I have to admit this one doesn’t sound like what we actually mean. Instead of saying, “I don’t mind,” a lot of us say, “I don’t care to.” That might sound like we don’t want to do something, but it actually means the opposite.
