I am in awe of the amount of new stories I’m hearing this year. I think people needed time to heal and process before they could share their experiences. 25 years later people feel ready to share.

Elder millennial who was 21 on 9/11 and a certified chicken shit. I would’ve been out of there so fast in a panic. There’s no way I could have kept working. I think part of the issue was the office culture created by boomers that you keep to your work unless they release you. So sad so many people could have survived if we were not a work centered society

if I was in the other tower that day and saw that I'd be the 1st one on the elevator going down as fast humanly possible get as low to the ground as possible regardless if they said get back to work
