I was born with hip dysplasia and my mom refused to use the brace they gave her for me. thank you for taking care of her hips cause mine are so messed up and cause me so much pain plus random dislocations.

I was born with hip displaysia, and the method when I was a baby was 2 diapers lol. My hips do still give me trouble, but I also was a catcher in softball for 13 years… so that didn’t help! But was always able to do everything anyone else could do!

I had hip dysplasia both hips. my mom did the brace and stuff but it didnt work for me and I had to have surgery when I was 2 and a half or 3 years old. shriners hospital is amazing!

You got this! I have two kids who were born with hip dysplasia. My daughter my second born we didnt find out until she started walking so had to have surgery to fix it. My third baby who is 2.5 now we found out in the hospital he used this same harness within his first week of life and unfortunately it failed and he got moved to the rhino brace and that worked! His hips are doing well since his last check up! It's definitely an adjustment but trust me this is worth it if it gives a chance to avoid surgery coming from a mom who has experience with both surgery and just braces
