@elzahraahassane: The word “sin” is in Arabic means Dhanb Which is rooted from the word ذَنَب — dhanab — which means “a tail.” A tail is something that comes behind you. It follows. And this implies that The sinful act may finish in a moment, but its consequences may continue long after the moment is gone. And this is one of the biggest misconceptions we have about sin. We sometimes think sin is only about the Hereafter: “Will I go to Heaven or Hell?” But sin is not only about what happens after we die. Sin can affect the life we are living right now. Allah says: وَمَا أَصَابَكُم مِّن مُّصِيبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيَعْفُو عَن كَثِيرٍ “Whatever affliction befalls you is because of what your own hands have earned, and He pardons much.”Qur’an 42:30 And Allah says: وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكًا “Whoever turns away from My remembrance will certainly have a life of hardship.”Qur’an 20:124 #canada #islam #motivation #muslimah #uaelife
When going through hardship and trial, It can act as a cleansing process. Repentance is always crucial and essential. Allah ends in the same verse: “And Allah forgives much.” Never give up or lose the hope in Allah. Always have in mind: Surah Az-Zumar, Qur’an (39:53). 💡
