@rs__production: “He laughed when he realized he was finally free.” #thesopranos #tonysoprano #sopranos #soprano #sinister

finn :

one of my favourite scenes in television, if you don’t pay attention you assume tony respects his father. but this one single scene signifies what he’s always felt and how he really doesn’t give a flying fuck about his father or anyone around him, the one thing his father taught him was to never gamble and what is he doing in this scene? the scene makes you think about christopher but really this scene is a sum up of the whole show up to this point. it doesn’t matter what his family or friends told him to do and to not, it simply doesn’t matter. he will continue winning and being a twisted fuck weather anyone likes it or not. the devil signifies his father watching over him as he single handily ruins his whole life right in this episode, as he realises nothing really matters or has consequences for his actions. he can do whatever he wants without any consequence and once he realises this he reaches pure insanity. he never gave a shit about his father he just pretended to because it’s what he thought was “right”. truly genius.
