@cobracraft1: 25 years ago, I was a college kid in New York watching the unimaginable unfold. My brothers were locked down at school. My parents were overseas in Ireland and couldn’t come home. I never could have imagined that one day I would make that same place part of my everyday life walking into the World Trade Center for work. There isn’t a day I’m there that I don’t think about September 11th. They took so much from us that day. But they didn’t permanently take this place from us. We came back. We rebuilt. Today, the World Trade Center is one of the most beautiful and sacred places in the world. A place of remembrance, but also a place filled again with people living their lives. 25 years later, I get to be part of the afterward. And that means something to me.
