completely legal btw, it only becomes illegal if you distrubute the copy. this is simply backing up digital media that you legally own

I’ve had to much trouble finding blank discs, in my town where I live their really hard to find, the stores don’t stock them anymore, and the only way I can find them is online, I would recommend using rewritable discs so you can use them again and again and again.
