Poor sweet boy is prolly so confused. I know it’s doing you in, but you’re doing the best thing for Todd by trying to keep his life as normal as possible. It’s what Tucker would want too. Play dates are such a great idea for Todd right now so he knows he’s not alone. But please don’t forget to take care of YOU. Grieving can sometimes take on a form of its own and control your life. PLEASE watch your health, physical and mental. All of Tucker’s online family is here for you, but don’t let things get too bad before you see a professional to talk to. My girl was so lost and confused when her brother died (they were littermates). We were all mourning, I could barely get out of bed. It was hard, but I just started taking her everywhere with me to help build that solo bond. Parks, stores, friends’ houses, day trips to the beach, restaurants with pet-friendly outdoor patios, etc. If she was allowed, she came with me. Seeing the light come back to her eyes was a beautiful sight, and it was healing for both of us. Home Depot was her favorite place. 😍
