my mom ate alot of Mexican food when she was pregnant with me and I have a very low spice tolerance. i can't have salsa, jalapeños, spicy ramen, any cultural food with spice or spice in general I will need ice water so bad. I have the whitest taste buds but the black in me needs salt and pepper on everything

It’s weird how that happens. It can either be an allergy or it can be something they don’t like eating even though you enjoy it—or if you hate something and then they’re born and they end up loving the thing you hate. Curious thing.
