I worked in weddings for 6 years and was about to type ‘the ones who spent the most usually got divorced’ then you said it. We used to stalk the people who sent thank you cards to the venue 4 years later and the amount who were divorced was scary! Our wedding coordinator used to have the grooms match her on hinge like 6 months later and say they were already divorced! It’s wildddd

I feel like a 2015 study is quite outdated now though no? £30k is average for a wedding now, I’m not saying it’s not an abhorrent amount of money because it absolutely is and the wedding industry is rinsing us, but I think surely this must apply to a higher amount of money now
