My wife woke me up at 1am because she wanted California rolls. We were living in Santa Ana at the time. I drove around looking for anything that might be open and settled on the idea there might be pre-made California rolls at the grocery store. There were none. I asked and was told that after a certain time of night they take them off the shelf. I ended up buying sheets of nori, sticky rice, avocado, cucumber, shrimp and whatever else I could think of. I made everything in one big bowl because I had no idea what I was doing. An hour later I went back to find her sleeping. I woke her up and she was mad. Then she was mad at the big mixing bowl. It was like a California roll mess. She tried it. She kept eating it. I went back to bed and had to wake up a few hours later for work. When I got up she was sleeping and that big bowl was empty.
