@sharkybobarky: Even Kirby was like, "this is a bad idea." | moved all this dirt over the long weekend and I've been in bed since then. Anytime I try to get out of bed to do something I suffer the consequences. Yesterday I thought I could help out by picking up some drywall for Kirby at Lowe's. Let me tell you it's an absolute shit show over there at the Lowe's on Capital Blvd. I never make it through the parking lot without being accosted by several people. One man asked if he could wash & wax my car and when I politely declined, he told me it needed it. I tried to tell the employees about the rude man in the parking lot and they didn't care. Then when I was loading up roughly 4 men offered to help in spite of the fact that I'm obviously jacked. Obviously I feel for these dudes because they are day laborers and need the money, but this shit doesn't happen to my husband. He says one guy will approach him and when he says no, the rest of the guys see and leave him alone. One man even grabbed my materials. After I said no 4 times the dude working at @Lowe's Home Improvemen FINALLY said no and the guy listened. Not sure why I had to say no four times before the employee stepped in. Employees should not be letting people grab my purchases! Any who, I probably should have carried some cash because in hindsight | shouldn't have been loading drywall into the truck in 105° temperatures.
