My spouse and our 2 dogs all passed within 6 months of one another. I was so lonely but, traveled often for work. I never really loved cats. I certainly never thought I would want one in my home. About a year after they all passed, I just found myself really missing someone to come home to and love on. So, I went to a rescue and just thought that I would, "look" at cats. This guy's name at the rescue was Monster because he was there for 6 months and would not let anyone touch him. He had been feral for about the first 2 years of his life. He climbed right up into my lap and buried his face into my neck. And, that was it. I picked him up, brought him home, and we are both absolutely OBSESSED with one another. His name is Murphy and I swear, we saved each other ❤️❤️

i started with one and he brought a chum and then there was 10🤣cats are adorable and loving and very caring..but agreed vet visits are nerve wracking. the fear after being spayed is next level. work on changing that for us please. 😊

I hear your perspective and I agree. Unless you have them as pets, you can’t understand how wonderful in loving they can be. I have three one ragdoll and two rescues absolutely amazing babies. I’ve had my ragdoll since she was 10 weeks. She’s now 14 years old.

My husband wasn’t a cat person, then we got Frank, the tuxedo cat. Frank chose my husband as his person and totally changed my husbands mind. We don’t have Frank anymore sadly, but Toto, our current cat, is adored and loves to curl up with us 🥰

I have always not really liked cats myself as I thought the same as you. I eventually got my daughter a kitty 2 months ago... and he's absolutely adorable... a lil gremlin at nights and early mornings, but he's beautiful 😍 and brings us so much joy
