If it was week 15 and they were 4-9 and the season was lost already, sure take risks, look for the next tom Brady, but this is week one man, you can’t afford to lose due to making silly decisions like this. Cooper rush ain’t no franchise qb but he can win you a game or 2 until your starting qb comes back

Safe floor vs zero floor. You want to give that kid every opportunity to develop before you throw him on the field. 1 bad performance could derail his career. Also the other 10 players on the field need at least competent qb play in order to succeed which you can’t guarantee with an undrafted rookie qb
