Is Time Travel Real? Time travel is one of the most fascinating ideas in science. It appears in movies, books, and television shows, where people use machines to travel hundreds of years into the past or future. But is time travel actually possible, or is it only science fiction? The problem is that scientists have never discovered a usable wormhole, and we do not know whether one could survive long enough for a person to travel through it.
