plus, Alicents green dress moment in the show was actually rhaenyras black dress moment. at viserys' and alicents 5th anniversary. tho technically it was a moment for both, since alicent did wear green to that, which is why the factions got the names. in the show its only a green moment, so the factions getting their names from it makes no sense. "the blacks" when did young rhaenyra ever wear black, aside from her mother's funeral. the next time we see her wearing black is at laenas funeral, so where did her faction get their name from on screen lol

I think show Alicent wore her house colors during the tourney in episode 1 or 2(?) It was so pretty.

i didnt know their colours but I mentioned to my boyfriend that they made an effort to point out the green but they never really stuck to specific colours before. like alicent more her mom's blue dress. and Otto was in black ofc
