I feel that after Yin gave his point of view and made things clear, which is fine, he caused a rift between them. He made it clear that they are friends and will always just be friends, but I feel that when he wrote that, he didn’t consider the position it would put War in. Because of what Yin posted, War can no longer be affectionate or joke about cute things with him since he knows many fans will see it negatively and criticize them for just doing fan service now that Yin has clarified their relationship. I don’t know if you understand me, but I’m sure this won’t be the first time we see them so distant. They will only interact in a cordial way from now on. I feel that the closeness they had, that spontaneity and complicity, was affected after Yin’s post. Let’s hope their friendship is strong enough to withstand this wave of hate; otherwise, this might be the last BL series we have with them together. Because let’s be honest, there are people in the fandom who truly love them regardless of their private lives, but there are others who love seeing them joke around with each other, get annoyed by compliments, and share sweet moments—and after all this, I think that stage won’t come back.
