When we were driving home after my moms funeral my oldest was 14. We were talking about how the make up is not something she would like. She said “Granny wouldn’t be caught dead looking like that” huge silence then everyone busted out laughing. My mama would have laughed too. 😂😂

They really do happen. My grandpa got drunk the night before his mom was burried and decided he needed to check if the hole was deep enough. He got stuck in the grave. Managed to get 2 other family members stuck with them before somebody was smart enough to bring a ladder lol.

This happened to my grandma with her mother (my great grandmother). My grandma was one of the quietest most meek woman ever and she fell in and said “I love you mom but not that much”. Now everyone in the family uses that line 😂💜

As a Funeral Director, I have had this happen a few times. Normally they say their loved one would have chuckeled. I always feel terrible. I have learned to guard the grave like a bouncer.

If it makes him feel better my Grandma got cremated twice because my Grandpa hadn't picked her up yet and the crematorium caught fire... She was always so dramatic 😂
