I couldn't believe that so I looked it up and at least in Florida where I live, builders do not have to install anything in the closet room to meet the code requirements. Normally, when you buy a new house, there should be in your contract what it comes with or even in the model of the home that you visited, but I'm just surprised.

Just use one of the bedrooms as a closet you split the room in half for you and half your husband and you put a vanity in it to get ready too. It’s a game changer.

I would advise not on strip lights but the bars. Look up govee bars I have them behind my tv. Bc dusting around strip lights is a nightmare
