isn't the term black people usually associated with African Americans/people who are from African descent, so that's why people refer to darked skinned characters POC if they're not from African descent 🤔. it's like how most people don't refer Asians and other light skinned people as white, I see it more as a race thing than just skin color (correct me if I'm wrong please)
