It would help if we had coaches that would change kids in and out and not make half (literally) of them stand on the sideline even during practice and scrimmages.

lack of confidence comes from fear of failure. thinking slows down their feet and then they play even more reserved. build them up in practice. always tell em they are doing well and give small corrections. it will come through

Am I missing something my son leads prayer before practice and games. He does what he needs to he can take a hit and get back up. The bruises prove it. Dad and I ask him why he’s not pushing back. “I don’t want to hurt anyone” what do you do with that? How do you get them to play the game and realize it’s a game? It’s not intentional pain/hurting?

I video every down my son plays and we go back through the videos after games and talk about everything he did great and everything he could do better. He is 6 playing both sides on a 7u team and raising a boy to be kind and then throwing him in a aggressive sport is definitely a hill to climb but we just teach him that there are times and places to be both.

I need my boys to NOT be so aggressive 😂 Their coaches compliment their aggressiveness ➡️Two year age gap, and they’re constantly wrestling, fighting, panting, sweating, bruising, and nearly deathing each other daily 😩🥴

My son is aggressive because of me, his siblings, and his coaches. Mainly me though kuz in my mind, I’m the head coach 🤣 Him being in high school is a battle kuz I can’t just get to the sideline. I just have to yell super loud. He plays both sides of the ball though 🤷🏾♀️

mothers...your boy is not earning his spot. thats why he doesnt play. thast it. he sucks. so you can help him get better on your own time. but if they dont earn it in the time given before the season, theyll ride the bench. football is a game of war, raise a warrior.
