@thecaseroom.daily: Jaycee Lee Dugard was just 11 years old when she was kidnapped on her way to the school bus. She would spend the next 18 years in captivity, enduring unimaginable abuse and giving birth to two daughters before finally being found alive in 2009. Her story is heartbreaking, infuriating, and one of the most unbelievable missing person cases ever. 🕊️ #survivor #truecrime #freedom #crime #justice
Highly recommend her book “A Stolen Life”. It is unforgettable and she is so strong for what she survived.

The rage this feels me with is unhealthy. Brutally assaulted a 14 year old. What I would do to that man...

I remember reading her book in highschool and feelings so sad for her. I’m so happy she made it out though! I hope she’s living a beautiful life with her children!

I read her book. Really tough read to imagine the abuse she went through and the grace she still gave them.

The US government should be entirely EMBARRASSED BY THIS CASE! Literally happening out in the open right in their faces! No ine took this man’s parole serious! I how they never sleep well! What a shame and disregard for accountability!

The fact that he was on parole when he first kidnapped her and nobody fucking realized that she was there is just despicable

Her mother worked early that morning and couldn’t walk her to her bus stop like she normally did. She had told her husband, Jaycee’s stepfather to do it that morning. He told Jayce no and that’d he’d watch her walk there from where he was. It’s important to know they had just moved to Lake Tahoe and Jaycee was a new student in her school which is why her mother would walk her to the bus stop every morning. Like the video states her stepfather saw when it happened and even chased after them but it was too late. It had even been suspected he had something to do with it due to family members on her mother’s side speaking to police about his different demeanor towards Jaycee.
