Btw everyone, former Skyborn hater here. Skyborn are High Elves as a loophole since the lore for normal High Elves doesn’t track. They have customization skin tones for High Elf/Blood Elf. It’s also in the name. Skyborn. Where’s the sky? Sky High? So High(born) Elf. High Elves born in the sky.

NGL. The "Sky Elves" have tempered the hype for me. There's nothing more retail slop than asspulling another random elf sub-race that nobody asked for so you can sell it as DLC in a "classic" WoW game.

And way better than I expected, they kept listing features and describing model like they actually listening to community once again. Gear that won't become useless with next raids and level 60 forever so character won't become outdated or people chilling/taking break won't fall behind, focus on leveling journey and meeting people matters again, no fast travel, no catch up bs, each class to retain unique feel, improved graphics but with original timeless art style and so so much more. Only people sad or mad I see are ones overly invested in their current classic versions or ones that didn't actually see the whole presentation and make some presumptions

I’m excited to play it. I just hope it’s not like SoD launch where you literally couldn’t do any of the starting quests because there were hundreds of people doing the same quests.
