Agent quest are technically still here they just don’t call them that, ever secondary character of a patch still has side content that talks more about there character, Zhao, SBilly, banyue, Cissia, sigrid, they all have stories they just don’t label them under “agents stories”

i mourn agent quests we should've gotten one for nangong, S billy, and roxy theres just nothing there for them (obviously there is for billy but being that Sanby got one regarding her backstory i think we shouldve taken a deeper dive into billys) its so unfortunate nangong shouldve had an agent story because the main story focused on aria and the event focused on sunna in 2.6, like in 2.4 we had the main story which split focus on all 3 new agents, an agent story for lucia and the event focusing on yidhari

It was only a problem with Dialyn, Zhao, S-Billy, Cissia and Promeia. they should've gotten their own Agent stories. Season 2 started off well, Ju Fufu got her Agent story in 2.0, Alice & Yuzuha during the Fantasy Resort beach event dives deeper into their characters and technically counts as their sor of Agent story in 2.1, Seed had her's in 2.2, and Lucia had her's in Version 2.3 as well as Yidhari's dream VR side event technically counting as her Agent story. and The Angels event technically counts as Sunna's Agent story and The Hot Pot Simmering event technically counts as Nangong Yu's Agent story.

nah they need to solve/continue plot lines that they continuously bring us and forget, we were hunting an ethereal who was growing the material needed for that special metal who was gonna be the third great hive lord of hollow zero yet it was forgotten already, seed being from helios forgotten already (granted she looks and sounds exactly like Phoenix so hopefully there's a connection, corin and what she really is, the oni genocide/war, the clone situation with anby, the ppl hacking the system during the void hunter video, I can go on and on but you get it so many plot holes remain unresolved I need at least corin and oni answers because an entire genocide/war was happening as humanity was fighting to survive and all for what the oni weren't treated as humans and they are their own species they are thirens or humans or intelligent constructs why were they prosecuted but not literal robots

I think the agent story has been fully replaced with the special events (eg sunnas rhythm minigame, Norma’s bangboo minigame, yidharis auto chess minigame) which honestly I don’t mind they js need to do more of these

I loveee agent quests because they were genuinely so interesting, and not super time consuming imo. plus the way they designed them like VHS tapes was SOOO uniquely fun

Agent Stories and Special Chapters should be more prevalent, they were abundant in season 1 and gave you quality content to engage with between major patches, as well as giving more personal introductions to characters and their group dynamics.

YES, zzz's makn story writing has been fun but agent stories really helped add depth to characters that didn't get much spotlight, I was hoping Nangong would get one to explain her scars then there was nothing, I was hoping Billy would get one similar to Lighters but instead we just got some dialog at the end of 2.8 and now I want Roxy to have an agent story because she has a lot of potential for an amazing story but I highly doubt that'll happen

They did say that they integrated agent stories into events, which like kinda. But you experience the story much slower and it doesn’t feel as much about the agent as it does about the rewards. There are also so many unexplored aspects of newer characters. I am all for bringing agent stories back
